This week, we’re proudly celebrating a very special milestone – 10 years of Rachael at TOMD.
For those who don’t know Rach quite so well, our website probably gives a pretty good flavour of her: happiest by the sea, a fan of cats and Jaffa Cakes, a firm dislike of mashed potato and the word ‘moist,’ and someone who can absolutely rock a pinafore dress!
After a decade of working alongside her, we know there’s rather more to Rach than that…
She’s a driving force at TOMD – the person who gets things done, keeps things moving and isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and get stuck in. She brings a calm, pragmatic approach to whatever lands on her desk, alongside a sharp eye for detail and a determination to do things properly.
And while we could run through all of our values and core principles, the truth is that Rach doesn’t need them written down to demonstrate them. She’s honest and straightforward, thoughtful and respectful, generous with her knowledge and a great collaborator. She cares about doing a good job, about doing right by her clients and colleagues, and about making sure everyone around her feels listened to and supported.
She’s also incredibly open about how she’s doing, which makes it easier for those around her to do the same. By being willing to share honestly, she helps create an environment where we can all be open about how we’re doing, support one another and feel comfortable bringing our whole selves to work.
Over the last 10 years, she’s helped shape the business in countless ways and makes TOMD a happier place to be. We’re incredibly proud of everything she’s achieved and of what we know she’ll continue to achieve as we look to the future.
We’ve also had the privilege of watching life change alongside work over those 10 years – from getting married to Jack to becoming a mum to gorgeous little Charlotte, and all the milestones, challenges and adventures in between. It’s been lovely to share that journey with her, too.
