For S4 Financial, the old image wasn’t working: its branding wasn’t speaking to its desired clients, its marketing was lacking structure, and its key message was getting lost.

The brief

Previously, most of S4 Financial’s clients were introduced by referral. However, due to a significant tranche
of their clients approaching retirement, and the Covid-19 pandemic having had an impact on business, they
were looking to take a more structured approach to marketing.

The firm had some success with local advertising initiatives, but this had not been implemented as part of cohesive marketing plan. They also wanted to target a new client base: the ideal client is now a younger professional – whether barrister, magic circle solicitor or tech professional – earning around £250,000 and with investable assets. In short, we were tasked with helping S4 Financial:

  • Take a more structured and professional approach to marketing
  • Improve the brand (and with it, the firm’s reputation amongst local residents)
  • Maximise referrals from current clients
  • Improve communication with existing clients
  • Attract new business leads

What TOMD delivered

In just four months, we were able to design and deliver a new brand image, as well as establish a cohesive marketing plan that we will continue to implement for at least the next year.

Our expert designers gave the S4 Financial brand a cohesive and consistent look. Our web development team launched the new website on time and on schedule. And our writers devised new messaging that represented the firm’s personality.

  • Ongoing hosting with regular website updates of relevant ready-to-use news plus bespoke content
  • On-brand Getty board of imagery
  • Branded set of icons
  • Branded set of financial topic guides
  • Stationery – business cards, letterhead for print and digital
  • Email signature design
  • An email campaign template (to match the style/design of the new website) to give emails a more bespoke look

And that’s not all!

We were also able to develop an ongoing marketing plan for S4 Financial. We expanded and built upon the existing social media presence by building a library of graphic templates and developing a social media schedule for each month. And we continue to help guide the firm’s success with regular reporting on campaigns and by offering ongoing strategic advice.
